"Hey man, sweet blog! I'm starting out as an automotive journalist and was wondering if you had any tips for getting followers? I have heaps of events that I've been asked to write for so my blog will look a little more exciting than it does now... Thanks! - L"

Howdy! I have no “real”  tips for gaining followers, to be honest. I started this blog about 3 or 4 years ago and it was one of the many {24} blogs I chose about my interests. Gradually, as I posted more and more images, people just started following. Although, there are a few things I know from being in the internet marketing business that should help you attract more attention without being obnoxious.

-tag your images/posts. Ex= lamborghini, lambo automotive, automobile, cars, exotic, supercar, etc. If not, there’s a rare chance your original post will show up int he searches.

-give a bit of backstory about yourself. I have an about page
that tells you a bit about me and also where else to find/stalk me on the internet. Adding a human side to an otherwise drab page simply full of pictures or posts is key, I think.

Those are all I can think of personally. I also went on a long bike ride today so I am rather tired. But hopefully you and others will learn from what I have to say! Thanks again.
